ReACHing Families

The ultimate goal of the ReACH Lab is to improve the mental health and well-being of children and adolescents. Our research seeks to identify key factors related to youths’ decision to start using substances. By gaining a greater understanding of these risk and protective factors, we hope to improve current substance use prevention programs for youth.

FAMILY OUTREACH EFFORTS

Dr. Trucco and the ReACH Team are committed to help the Miami community learn more about the dangers of adolescent substance use and how to prevent initiation. Dr. Trucco and ReACH Lab RA, Benejelene Sutherland, teamed up with the Parent Academy to provide this informational webinar to parents about adolescent vaping in English, Spanish, and Creole.
